The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is involved in conducting application-oriented Research & Development. These research activities concentrate on the main focus areas of each of our five Schools: Engineering and Architecture, Business, Social Work, Art and Design, and Music. The main goal of R&D at the HSLU is to provide scientifically-based solutions for technical, economic, social, or artistic problems arising not only in Central Switzerland but in the rest of the country and even worldwide. It focuses on creating direct advantages for enterprises, public administrations, associations and our society in general.
