Professional development
Currently over 1,500 students are enrolled in more than sixty development programs geared to working professionals. The School of Business hosts eighteen Master of Advanced Studies programs, two Diploma of Advanced Studies programs, twenty-three Certificate of Advanced Studies programs, and a wide range of other programs, including internships and preparatory courses.

Summer School
Enterprises of all different types act internationally. A specific qualification of the management in such globally positioned companies is success which transcends geographic borders. This is where the Summer School, offered by the Lucerne Universitiy of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hochschule Luzern, shines. Under the motto "Intercultural Management - Doing business across borders", we offer companies and their management a high-quality, international further education and networking platform. The Summer School is directed towards participants who wish to explore new, innovative paths in the context of internationalisation.

The five institutes operate in the fields of professional development, applied research and development, and professional services. They are the Institute of Management and Regional Economics, the Institute of Financial Services in Zug, the Institute of Communication and Marketing, the Institute of Tourism, and the Institute of Business Information Technology.
